Dawson MacAuley Sent back to Midget

On Tuesday 16-year-old Dawson MacAuley was sent back to Prince Albert for a second season in midget AAA, leaving Dubyk and Tyler Bunz as the Tigers’ netminding duo for the second season in a row.

“It’s something I’m looking forward to, me and Dub’s have been together, this will be our second year now,” said Bunz, who played 57 games and had a 2.91 goals against average last season. “It would have been tough to see him leave.
“MacAuley played real well through the preseason, he gave it everything he could. It’s not as though he didn’t deserve to be here. Next year is his year.”

I think this definitely makes sense. The Tigers are looking to have a strong team and having 2 veteran goaltenders is never a bad thing. Next year he is still in a very good situation, as Tyler Bunz should be back next year and Maculey is still in a very good learning environment.

I believe that the tigers are going to play Dubs for a bit raise his stock for trading and then trade him and bring back MacAuley
