Tyler Bunz played another outstanding game, and the Hockey Gods were smiling on him today as The Canes rang the post about 4 times. Tyler Bunz now has a G.A.A of 2.39 which is 2nd best in the whl, and a .918 save percentage which is 4th best. The Tigers offense has been simmering lately but Tyler Bunz amazing play in net has picked up the slack.
The Hurricanes always seem to play the Tigers tough. These two teams will lay it all on the line tomorrow as it is the last game before Christmas for both teams.
Hunter Shinkaruk did not dress, Emerson Etem is away at world junior camp, but Vahe Zakaryan was back in the lineup tonight returning from injury. The Canes had a couple defenseman out with injuries so they called up 15 year old Joel Topping.
