Is szeto a listed player then? I saw his name on Hollick's Between the Lines blog. I'll add him in.

This is not a shocker. Too bad, but I think Dawson relied on his size too much. He was, athletically, behind. He size was his greatest asset but also his downfall.

Good luck to Dawson. Too bad, just did not work out. I am sure he is disappointed. Dawson, go work hard and show up to camp next year with something to prove!

Now all we need is Patrik Parkonen back!!

I hope the Cam can bring some confidence in goal and allow Hunter, Cox etc to fly. Lots of goals! Go tigers go!

Glad to see we have talent coming along the pipe...... any goalies in that list? Something is going to have to happen for next year!

Not sure he's still listed does not mention on his midget team roster as being aTigers listed player

I have heard that Jake Fletcher was a steal at a 9th round pick and is a guy who has come leaps and bounds. Expect him to put up a good fight for a spot in the upcoming year or two.

ok all you statt'ers how many goals scored did we score Last year vs goals against at this time last year and what was our record

33 Goals against after 12 games last year with a record of 9 wins 3 losses.

To bad for Dawson if he was up last year like he should of been he would of developed last year, they really wasted a lot of potential with him

If he was up last year like he should have been?

If he was up last year he would have started this season in Jr.A like the guy who was up last year and didn't get any playing time/development behind Bunz.

Feel bad for the guy, but the Tigers do a poor job in developing young goalies.

No, Dawson should have played in lower league last year but more then 11 games. Lots of ice time would have helped. He does not have the athleticism and physical readiness for the WHL. Bunz's at 16 was far more prepared, Dawson needed to start doing more work years ago. It was wishful thinking on the part of the Tigers.

AGREE! They seem to screw with a lot of young guys potential! Just release Dawson and let him move on.

I do not think that the Tigers screwed with Dawson's potential. From my understanding he showed up to camp last year in poor physical shape. Then when reassigned to Yorkton he did not report right away and had a, self-admitted, attitude problem because he was upset with getting cut. He is a guy who was given such a step up by being so big that in the lower leagues he would have dominated because of his size. But the WHL is a huge step and you have to have all the goods to stay. He did not, he only had size.

Anyone know if Lanigan will be in the Hat in time to make the trip to Edmonton to play? I would assume if he is in the Hat that he would be starting the game in Edmonton. But will he be in town in time to join the team?

The reason Cammeron is in Jr.A is because he is 19, and there is a HUGE difference between Jr.A and WHL for speed, shot power and how the game moves. Dawson would of had a full year to be taught by Bunz and seen the game at that speed instead they throw him into the deep end and say sink or swim. Look at the guy they gave to Tri-City he is going to be a monster in the league and we just let him go, something that still bugs me is we have an offence that says we are in a rebuilding mode, a defence that is extremely average maybe even below average and then a goaltending situation which would make me think we are doing a cup run soon. There is confusion all of this lineup

Our captain needs to step up and earn some respect from both his team mates and the opposition by standing up for himself. Teams are being very physical with him and until he responds it's going to continue. And please, those celebrations after goals, especially when you are down by two or three have to stop. Act like you've been there before.

Lets have a great game Tigers vs Edm.

i 100% agree with longtime, if i was personally playing against him i would love it i could be as physical as i wanted totally throw him off his game and he would do nothing to me, he isnt hurting anyteams in scoring anyways

Too bad for Dawson, another Euro gets a free ride because the Tigers paid to get him. Too bad the WHL doesn't abort this Europeon Draft and let our Canadian Kids play.
