Matt Bradley is sick. Scores every game it seems. Butcher looked very fast. Becker and Stanton both looked great from the point.

Doty showed some good moves and skating...with a little more offensive confidence he could really be a force.

Owre and Cox both looked fast and dangerous.

Adam Smith look very good

Really like Bradley - he must be almost a lock on forward. Riley Wosinak had some smooth moves and played positionally well.
On defence I liked Hobbs and Forest the best out of the new guys. I saw Schultz play before he got hurt and I still like these two better then him on defence. Hard workers and more gritty.
Our vets looked stronger and quicker. I thought Sanford was playing with more swagger, I am sure he will be scoring more then 2 goals this year!
Also Didur was by far the best tendy. Nice group of tendy's but he stood out for me. Is a bit small but sure quick and positionally very good.
The new 19 year olds look good but would rather see us develop a 16 or 17 year old. We wont keep those guys as 20 years old so why take them now?

From the sounds of what I was hearing Doty around the Oilers camp is that he has really worked on his skating and is looking to take the step Lucic did if so you got to think Leier is on his way out, I also think Adam Smith would be a fantastic spark plug for this team if he can make the roster. The Tigers defiantly have some trade bait

There is no way the Tigers should let go out Doty now with the Ice and Oil Kings both having spots open for 20 year olds, Tigers having a young small team again and Doty looks like he has improved a ton and lost 15 pounds in the off season. He can fight, hit and stops any cheap shots or running now he could of improved his offensive side he could be a real force. Valk is more than likely going to come back and Bredo will be back and was the Tigers most consistent player last year. Boston is going to be odd man out but who would you rather have the Oil Kings or Ice have Boston or Doty? Id much rather play against a Boston any day then need to worry about Doty every time he steps on the ice..........my take on the situation anyway

Scott Allen is BIG!! He is a guy would could follow in Doty's footsteps.
Doty looked great out there, his offensive abilities have really come out in the last year. Too bad we did not get him sooner!

As far as rookies go, I liked Hobbs on defence and Bradley and Mowbray up front. gonna be a tough decision to pick the back up goalie this year I think

I thought the 2 new 17 year old forwards ( Wozniak and Mowbray) outplayed the 3 who payed here last year (Penner,Owre and Butcher). The 2 of them took the body and created chances.

I also liked Hobbs and Allan on defence. Both skate very well and were physical. Liked Mowbray last year and thought he should have stayed. Liked Didur as well but I have to wonder with a smaller goalie playing the butterfly style in a league where the shooters are a lot better than he's used to how he would fair.

Hobbs and Allen on D, Bradley and Wozniak up front. Doty over Leier for overager. Didur for goalie. In the past week I have become a big Hobbs fan. Far better then Schultz (saw him prior to injury) who has no compete to his game and looks like he does not really care to be there. Also does not look near as fit as Hobbs or Allen.

Valk, Doty & Leier for overagers. Time to let Bredo go, need Doty to keep other teams honest.

Bredo has been good for the team, done everything they've asked but lots of up and coming d-men and it's not like Bredo is Brenden Kichton or something.

Leier could score a bunch this year.

So could a ton of other players, there are 25 goals scores filled on this roster Bredo is by far the best penalty killer in the league and a good utility man by far the dumbest prediction

we'll see about that. If you get rid of Doty, who protects all these smaller 25 goal scorers you think the Tigers have?

Bredo has been a good soldier for them but he's not good enough to be a 20 year old in this league.

But Boston Leier is a better player than Bredo? Bredo is one of the best face off men on the Tigers, easily was their Best Dman last year as well and is a rock on the penalty kill. There was just a huge write up in the paper and Clouston said he's a joy on the team because of his hard working and versatility the only way Bredo is not on the roster is if a team going for the memorial cup trades for him
