Bradley Re-assigned

Mathew Bradley Re-assigned

According to the Medicine Hat News yesterday the Tigers re-assigned Mathew Bradley.

It leaves 15 forwards on the roster. With the last cut expected to be an overage forward the forward group is pretty much set on numbers.

That's essentially 26 players on the roster with one overage cut. Technically the Tigers could keep all their young defense up here, but it would be difficult to get everyone equal playing time.

Bradley is still listed on the site, as it Mowbray. Is Mowbray still with the Tigers? I am surprised, Bradley seemed to dominate the younger guys and have not noticed Mowbray much.

My limited viewing of Mowbray during an intrasquad game was that he is not necessarily a dynamically quick player but more of a playmaker, reminded me a bit of tochkin.

Mowbray was one of the last cuts last year If I remember correctly.

Cox tweeted something about his boy Bradley being sent home Tuesday night.

From a source, sounds like Hunter Shinkaruk will be getting in at least 5 NHL games with the bum named Zack Kassian suspended and after that who knows as they love what the kid has brought to the team in training camp.

With their injuries/suspensions the canucks have only 2 extra forwards right now. It is likely that Shinkaruk makes opening day roster as he has received more ice than the other rookie forwards.

Kinda hoping for no more big long term injuries.

I don't think he will play more than 9 games, but he probably won't be back until mid to late october at the earliest if he makes opening day.

I have to admit, would not be surprised if Bradley was called up later on. He is so talented, just surprised he is not playing on the tigers this year.

The Canucks have 2 extra forwards, and 2 forwards are suspended.

They might make a move on the waiver wire, but it looks like Shinkaruk has a 50/50 chance at making the opening day roster
