Very Good Game Tonight from the Tigers!

and by good game I mean not only did they win, but they did a lot of little things right. More traffic to the net, utilizing their defenceman to get out of the zone. Creating more pressure. Dumping the puck in as a backup options and creating turnovers off it and having everyone commit to team defense!!

I think their are areas they can still improve upon but it is good to see their game back, as well as Vannelli back in the lineup.

3 Regular season games left in this old barn. I'm gonna miss it!

Tigers are also back in 1st, as calgary lost, and the Tigers currently hold the first tiebreaker in wins.

The Edmonton win, and Ice loss, means that the tiebreaker teams are only separated by one point as well.

Red Deer, Kootenay, or Edmonton I'd say are all possible first round matchups, and at this point I'd say the Tigers have a 33.3% chance of facing each one in round 1.

I liked their play tonight. COuld have been a 4-0 game had they had a little more puck luck. But if they play like that every night there is no reason why they can not get wins. Really liked the intensity and the net presence.
Becker is sure good infront of the net. I did not always appreciate this but I think while he was gone Langhammer was less protected and less pucks were cleared. Becker plays a big role on the team, sure glad they kept him!
Vanelli seems to have brought some confidence back into the team. Was pleased to see his quick passing and offensive threat back in!
Go tigers go!!!!

Was good to see the tigers back on their systems and moving their feet. Sometimes the simple things are the hardest to get back.
Through adversity we become stronger

Why are the tigers listed as second on the WHL site? I thought with wins they were first

They are first if you sort by division. Sorting by conference does put them 3rd, I don't know why that happens.
