SERIES TIED 2-2

Tigers take a 3-2 OT win in game 4.
WOW, WHAT A GAME

That was a grind it out battle. The Tigers played really well, but were really unlucky in the first period

First goal the Canes player actually lost the puck, and the Tigers accidentally kicked the puck right to Estephans' tape in the slot .

Second goal was a change up. Bullion was expecting a hard shot, but the shot was partially blocked right at release by a tiger stick. IT was a tricky shot.
---

It feels like the Tigers changed the momentum of the series with that game. They were able to match the intensity of lethbridge, then they picked up their game.
I thought The Canes legs started slowing during the second half of the game and the Tigers were able to get more chances after that.

Game 5 @ the Canalta Centre on Friday, cannot wait!!

Absolutely beautiful Dalstorm! Tigers were cleary the better team tonight

Tigers looked great!!! Bullion.... not so much. Tigers should have had a couple more goals, but could easily have given up a few more due to Bullion's mistakes. Love Bullion, hopefully it was a one off.

Tigers win and double the Canes in shots, yet Canes get 2 of the 3 stars. Too funny.

The Tigers have dominated every game in this series. It should already be over. Estephan had a couple of career nights, but after him and Wong, they have nothing else left. This series is over.

The Hurricanes can't handle the speed of the Tigers and Skinner is over rated. Every Tigers line wins every race to pucks, and when the Canes do get it, they give it up with just a little pressure. The Tigers literally skate circles around the Canes while the Canes are dodging and poking and missing.

With 20 yr olds Zborosky & Alfaro both injured, and with Franklin, Bowen, & Addison each playing hurt or not playing at all, it is merely formality. Owre, Shaw, Fish, and Butch just need to stop diving like idiots and play.

Dominated? 3-2 Canes series lead says hi

Sad result - teams were evenly matched tonight, although the reffing was still in Lethbridge's favor (Quenneville high sticked in the face, no call; Tiger check = checking from behind; constant holding by canes, no calls either...). I wonder if Schneider shouldn't have had some ice time - after Buillion let in three out of, what, 5 or 6 shots... Either Clouston has an issue with him, or he still has a health issue. But Clouston had no hesitation in pulling Schneids after three quick ones, all year long. Hope I'm wrong but... it looks like Canes in six 😢.

Disappointing result. The Tigers have way more shots and zone time, but whenever lethbridge comes down the ice, their always seems to be a bounce that re-directs the puck on net or into the slot.

I don't like commenting about the refs. Can't do anything about them and the Tigers got away with a few calls during the game. Ex. Bullion played the puck in the trapezoid and luckily got away with it.

In regards to bullion he is letting out more rebounds and overcommiting just a tad too much. It could very well be because the Tigers play in the Canes end for 4-5 minutes and doesn't face a shot, then all of a sudden their is a game of pinball going on in the slot against the Wong/babenko/estephan line.

I feel like Shaw needs to pick up his game. He has been mediocre this series and I haven't liked his play. That penalty he took at the end of the game was a bad hockey decision.
----

I didn't see Vandervlis for Lethbridge on the ice in the third period. I'm wondering on his availability for sunday.
-----

I feel like the Tigers are a better team that this. I wasn't expecting them to be in this position at all. I'm hoping for a game 7 but it is possible that was the last Home game this year.

The Hurricanes will be tight & slow, and will likely have less than 15 shots on Sunday. There is no chance that 2 players are going to beat the Tigers. You will hear the coaches say the usual BS, but the Hurricanes already know they have no chance at winning that game and I love our chances against however many Hurricanes are left for game 7. Next series, please.

Bullion needs to stop playing the puck. That first goal was because of him.
Absolutely frustrating with 90% of the game being played in the Canes end it's tied at 2 after 40.

Some unreal saves by Bullion near the end of the game

Tigers, you have got this!!!! Wow!!! Go tigers go!!!! Will be cheering at game 7!!!

This series is so intense. After the Hurricanes scored goals to comeback twice, I was thinking ooh no, not again.

However It seemed like for the first time in the series the puck-luck finally went the Tigers way.

The last 2 games Bullion looked a little hesitant, but I thought tonight he definitely looked like his old self again tonight.

The Tigers had a couple big pokechecks late in the game that helped bullion make those saves.

Game 7 is going to be a nailbiter

Was at the game tonight not sure what happened to Schultz in the 3rd but he looked like he was in a different planet. Hoping nothing too serious.

Vandervlis, Alfaro, Zborosky, Addison and Franklin out again. Come on Tigers you got this!!!!

Game 7 and the Tigers come out like this is a regular season game, it's embarrassing.
They don't deserve to win, if they play another period like that.

Call an ambulance one more lead swing im gonna have a heart attack.

OT ! Jeez the Tigers could use another big defenseman. Oh, that's right - they have one in the stands named Gally... But instead we have a defenseman who simply watches the 'canes skate by. Doesn't sweep the puck, doesn't take out his man, just looks surprised that two skaters sweep by him. Aaaargh! Maybe now that I vented, he'll score in OT. But more likely he'll just take another hit on the plus-minus... And the season will be over. Let's hope I'm wrong.

Tough one, neighbours!

If only you guys took a few more dives and we had about 5 more injured, you might have been able to beat us.

Better luck next year!

That was depressing

Never have been and never will be a fun of Clouston.

Already looking forward to next yr, prospect pool is pretty deep IMO. Interesting to see what rookies crack the roster, what changes are made, and who's back as a 20 yr olds (there's going to some tough decisions there if they don't get pro contracts or go to school).

Really disappointed with this loss. Feel sorry for the boys on the ice.

Going to take a couple days before making a post, but my initial thoughts are that this loss was because of flawed hockey philosophy and getting out-coached. I feel like this is 3 years in a row where they have under-performed to their talent level.

I agree with you when you say we underperformed and that is why this loss is so damn hard to take. Last year when we lost game 73 I was upset but I looked forward to next year because I had a feeling we would be good. Right now I'm devastated because I thought this was the team to challenge Regina. We will be fine again next year but it's tough to look forward because in my eyes this was the team to get the job done.

What happened to McPhee? Not on the roster and wasn't listed as a scratched player. Also little concerned with back end last year, only dmen returning are 19 and maybe a 20 year old. McGovern too is only 17 starting, unless we bring back the rebound king Bullion
