The Spokane Chiefs have acquired forward Kyle Beach from the Lethbridge Hurricanes in exchange for defensemen Mike Reddington and Landon Oslanski. Beach was the Chicago Blackhawks first round draft selection, 11th overall, in 2008.
Looks like Lethbridge gets a little help on defense. A little Ironic though that beach is going to a division rival of his former Team Everett Silvertips.

Apparently Cole Penner has been traded from Melfort to Grand Prairie in the AJHL. He was originally traded to Melfort from the Brooks bandits but he never reported.
