Season Series
Brandon turned a corner late in the year. The last two games these two played against each other were 1 goal games, and since then Brandon has improved.

Thu Nov 11 Medicine Hat 2 Brandon 5 Final
Tue Nov 23 Brandon 1 Medicine Hat 7 Final
Sat Jan 29 Brandon 3 Medicine Hat 4 Final
Fri Feb 11 Medicine Hat 5 Brandon 6 Final OT

Expect the first round to be a nail biter.

Offense:

Overall I'd give an advantage to Brandon with having a little more depth in their scoring department, especially with the Tigers Tyler Pitlick not playing. Their power-play is extremely deadly at 23.3% but they also lead the league in shorthanded goals against with 15. Both teams seems to get the same amount of offense from their defensman, and more-so rely on their forwards to score. Former Tiger Matt Mcakay will be heavily trying to knock any kind of finishing blow on his former team.

Goaltending & Defense
Advantage Tigers in goaltending, slight advantage in defense.

Both Teams faced a similar amount of shots against and Brandon allowed 75 more goals. Brandon's defence is really young. Their age breakdown as follows.
19 - 1
18 - 1
17 - 3
16 - 2

I think the Tigers have a big advantage in net, however I'm curious to see how the Tigers can play in their own zone when push comes to shove. In years past they seem to come together when playoffs hit, although a couple players are randomly prone to overlook the puck and make bad giveaways. The Tigers will need to try and intimidate Brandon's defense early with speed and by playing physical.

Questions
Brandon
How will Brandon's younger goaltending defense and Penalty Killing hold up against the leagues top scorer?

Brandon's road record this year is poor at just .347 winning percentage, can they steal a game in Tigers-Town?
Can Brandon shut down Linden Vey and Emerson Etem without taking penalties? You can bet that Brandon will be scouting the video of these two players heavily and trying to key on them. As Brandon stands a good chance at winning if they can shut these two-powerhouse forwards down.

Tigers
Can the Tigers play a solid 60 minute game without giving way to an offensive outburst from an offensive team like Brandon?
Will the Tigers be able to press their advantage over Brandon's leagues 2nd worst Penalty kill (74.9%)?
Can the Tigers shut-down Brandon's offense? (Brandon's Mark stone hit 106 points)
Can the Tigers get secondary scoring consistently throughout each game?
Can the Tigers up their physical game?

I made a prediction but I saved it as a blog draft. When the series ends I will post it and link to it.
