Tigers Wacey Hamilton and Linden Vey are expected to play in both games today, and tomorrow. Willie Desjardin will be coaching the team.
Jon Keen over at Keens Corner reports that the Bronco's Justin Dowling was Centering Hamilton and Vey during a whl practice.
Sportsnet Pacific
If you have a satellite of some sort you can watch the game live on sportsnet pacific at 8:00 mtn time.
Sportsnet West
If you just have Sportsnet west you will have to wait and watch it at midnight on a tape delay. That is a bit stupid IMO, but I guess more people may be interested in the daily sports highlights or the Oilers games than the russia vs whl game.
Russians have lost all 4 games of their series so far.
Linden Vey has this to say about todays game.
“I think anytime you put a Canadian team against the Russians, it’s going to be a special game,” said Vey, who will join Tigers’ teammate Wacey Hamilton on the Team WHL roster “It’s usually going to be a close game and a hard-fought battle.
“I know the Russians have played four good games versus the QMJHL and OHL so far, and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can do against them,” added the Los Angeles Kings draft pick.
