Interesting to Note that Tiger list player Dylan Olsen has reportedly signed an entry level deal with the Chicago Blackhawks. He had decided to stay with the NCAA route rather than play for a major junior team in Canada. His WHL rights belong to the Tigers.
Sources say he was going to be academically ineligible for his 2nd semester, and that he is headed to Chicago's farm team the Rockford Ice Hogs after the world juniors.
From the games I have watched on TV he has looked uncomfortable at the World Juniors and I especially did not like the two attempts where he pushed players into his own goalie.
From the sounds of things he doesn't want to go the Junior route and with the ncaa not working out his overall development might have been better served playing up here. Its too bad considering an Olsen type player is what the Tigers could use on the back-end.
