Wednesday Games
Lethbridge defeated Calgary 5-2 Wednesday Night.
Brandon and Kootenay each got single points while Regina picked up 2.
With 2 games remaining for all eastern conference teams the Tigers still hold a 2 point edge on Calgary for the third spot. Calgary still holds a potential tiebreaker in total wins at this point if they were to catch up in points.
Possible First round Matchups
Regina - possible
Saskatoon - possible
Kootenay - possible
Brandon - less likely but still possible
Games Left
Brandon plays Regina twice
Calgary plays Kootenay twice
Saskatoon plays Swift Twice
Tigers play Edmonton and Lethbridge at home. Edmonton is fighting for the points lead in the whl, as they have a 1 point lead over Tri-City so Fridays game will be tough, although they did rest 2 veterans in their SO win over Kootenay.
