Love that the Tigers got a mention more then once. Willie, such an awesome coach! Wish he was still with the team. Just wish we could have got him a Memorial Cup in 2007
Glad to see Willie get his shot.. I am a little leery its with a team that has a rookie President, a rookie GM and now a rookie coach facing a star like Kesler wanting to head out. Not a lot of experienced management help to call upon. I hope he doesn't become the next Guy Boucher.
Ya, but look what Wilie was given with the Tigers. They are not expecting the Stanley Cup, but I think Van is expecting a team who will come out every night and battle. With Willie, that is what they will get. Not sure Shinkaruk will like this move, Willie is a guy who likes guys who put the team first, last year he proved he plays for the name on the back not the crest on the front. Valk tho, might be good for Valk. Hope it gets his foot in the door for a try out.
Rumours circulating about a new assistant coach with the Tigers. Has anyone heard any names? I wanna know if they are going to bring in a guy with experience or a young (and maybe familiar) face. I have heard whispers of both. Hope they find someone to compliment Shawns temperament.
I heard Valk has been given the invite to Canucks camp, this true? Anyone else hear this? Willie type of player, overcomes odds with hard work and heart. What will get Valk on with Van will be the things that keep Shinkaruk off Van.
Vey had 55 goals and 103 assists in the AHL. We all know he could have played on every other NHL team. Good player to pick up. Just wish the Flames would have done it, not Van. Looks like there is less and less room for Shinkaruk. Vey is ready to play, Hovart will get the call before Shinkaruk. So, if he ends up back here, do the Tigers trade him?

Willie initially brought in a few ex-Tigers for Texas, but only lasted part of one season.
Cam Barker, Gord Balwin, Bretton Cameron, Daine Todd, Jayce Coyle. Assistant Coach Doug Lidster.
Doug Lidster is being Rumored to Join the Canucks coaching staff.
-----------
Barker plays in the KHL in Russia
Baldwin in England
Cameron in the ECHL
Coyle in the ECHL
Daine Todd is playing in the AHL, KHL next season.
Even though they didn't stick they still found other places to play.
-----------
It took him 2 years with the Tigers. 2 Years with Texas. 2 Years with Vancouver??

I hope Willie takes 2 for the cup, but, as a bitter fan, I hope Shinkaruk is not there to enjoy it.
Heres to hoping Whitey Shinkaruk gets traded to the Deep South!!
Is Langhammer not coming back? Why a 20 year old barely seen the WHL goalie? Insurance or something we dont know.
And brought in an all time fav in Dorsett!!!!!!

Rather Shinkaruk gets buried in depth
Vey to Vancouver now. A Tiger reunion. Hope he stops there, its starting to look silly.
Yea....rename them to the Vancouver tigers
