Any clue whos coming in as the 3rd goalie?
Garin Bjorklund is most likely going to be the goalie of the future but he's only 15 and under normal conditions would only be able to play in a maximum of 5 games as an affiliate player until his team is eliminated from play. Not sure how it works if you would want him in an emergency situation. The players list on Alan Caldwells blog hasn't been updated since 2016 and I'm pretty sure it's not correct at this point. There is a goaltender Caleb Mceachern that the Tigers drafted in 2016 who is 16 and playing in the csshl.
I'm not sure how emergency callups work, with it being after the roster freeze.
Garin Bjorklund(15) is playing Midget AAA in calgary.
Kaleb McEachern(16) is playing over in Okanagan in the CSSHL
Kaeden Feer Lane(16) who is the top Goalie in the CSSHl in Burnaby BC.
The Tigers have two games here then go to Calgary on sunday. I could see them calling Bjorklund to be the backup for the next 3 games. That will give them time to find a more permanent solution if Hollett is indeed out long-term.
Bobby Fox says they are looking into Garin Bjorklund, while Kaeden Lane has also been contacted.
