Last Season
Last Season as a 17yr old he largely played in the Champions League which is a men's league in Europe. He also played for Denmark at the under 20 world championships. he was rated as a "C" prospect in early season NHL draft rankings but was not selected at the NHL draft.
James Hamblin
Suffered an Injury at Summer Training Camp with Toronto and had to be stretchered off the ice. X-rays were negative and the official diagnosis was a dislocated knee. He was seen walking around training camp but isn't expected back on the ice.

Brinkman is Sogaard friends. Im sure that had some influence on the Tigers taking him.
Hes a very skilled forward, with great speed, and good puck handling skills.
I would think Hamblin will be back sooner then later. Uncomplicated knee cap dislocations can be in the 2 - 2.5 recovery zone. Would be sure good to have him for October sometime. He is a big part of the team!
Hope this Dane is as skilled as reported. Would be nice to have someone with good pick skills and a nose for the net up front!
Cross our fingers he is a hidden Gem! It's usually a good sign when imports have played in a men's league when they were 17. If he knows sogaard hopefully, it will be easier to make a transition.
I think they might have played together in the world juniors as well
Curious if this is true or not. Long time fan told me that Clouston did not allow players to sit on the bench. Unfortunately he never mentioned this to me until after the coaching change so I'll never be able to substantiate it because I've never paid attention to it.
I might say there is some credence to this....I recall numerous times when I looked and thought that they were really into the game as they were standing and other team sitting....I observed player (s) sitting on occasion but rare....
sit behind the bench & they were always sitting except waiting to go out on their play.
On another note, what are the chances that Willie brings back the third jerseys? Hopefully the Orange “Tigers” jersey. Really hoping to see a bit more effort pumped into things fans care about!
Anyone hear if our import is coming? Noticed other teams have already signed theirs.
When does training camp start? Interested in going especially with the coaching (and culture) change that we have all be longing for!
When are you doing your predictions for next season?
Training camp usually opens on the August 24th weekend, which is 2 weeks away.

It's hard to compete with the black Tiger jerseys. I don't mind those retro orange jerseys though. I don't want to see those 2000's 3rd jerseys make a comeback, didn't like them.

I think their import is coming. Friends with sogaard. I don't think they have officially signed him, but

Working on predictions. I'll want to release it before Training camp starts, so when I'm wrong I have an excuse that they were pre pre-season picks lol.

Anyone hear anything about how season tickets are coming? Wondering if there has been an increase or not with Willie coming back.
Wishing we had some sort of update on Hamblin. Hoping he is good to go for training camp or not far off!
Just read. Hollet has stepped away from the team to peruse his academics.
With Hollet gone that leaves us with 4 overage forwards. Wonder how that will play out
My guess, Hamblin is a lock, Prezuiso and Ostir.
My guess is Hamblin, Preziuso and Christensen.
I would imagine Christensen will stay. He also seems like a guy who might flourish under Willie.
My guess would be Hamblin, Preziuso and Christiensen
How many openings do they tigers have? We have a crop of some decent guys coming up, will be interesting to see how many can fit.
K Smart - there are at least 5 spots with Hollet, Jevne, MacPherson and Nassen leaving and the fact there are 4 overagers right now, one of them will go
Pre-season tickets for the game in Irvine went on sale today. I heard you can grab them at Rusty's for $20 in Dunmore. Does anyone know why they decided to do a pre-season game at such a small venue? Last year this game sold out pretty fast - just thinking they would move to a bigger arena.
They hold pre-season games in these smaller venues to help the local communities minor hockey programs. I totally agree though about the Irvine venue - way too small.
