Tanner Sohn Dealt To Vancouver

Vancouver, B.C. – The Vancouver Giants acquired defenceman Tanner Sohn from the Medicine Hat Tigers in exchange for a 6th round pick in the 2012 WHL bantam draft. The 1991 born blueliner played 29 games last season with his hometown Tigers, collecting 4 points and 64 penalty minutes. Prior to that he played 4 games over 2 seasons with the Saskatoon Blades.

Roster Slowly Taking Shape
I kinda suspected Sohn would be the odd guy out if everyone comes back, as mentioned in an earlier post. Trading Sohn away leaves the Tigers with 7 defensman if Jace Coyle comes back.

Educated Guesses
It means the Tigers have either gotten confirmation that Coyle will be back in the Hat(like that anonymous poster on Tigers Roarrs and Purrs mentioned) or Coyle Wont be back and their looking to acquire another Defender. Which I dont think is the case at least at this point in time.

----
Trading Sohn away also leaves me to beleive that Thomas Carr is a lock for an overager spot on defense(As they have no spares to get rid of).

Which means an uncertain future for Joey Frazer, it depends on whether Wacey Hamilton is sent back or not.

Tigers Lost 2-1 SO to the Red Deer Rebels saturday night.
No boxscores available as of late Saturday night.
