The Regina Pats are proud to announce the acquisition of 17-year-old forward Trent Ouellette from the Medicine Hat Tigers in exchange for a conditional bantam draft pick.

Regina Pats General Manager Chad Lang: “We like the fact that Trent is young and fills a void in the 1993 age group. He skates well with an offensive upside and gives us a little more depth down the middle.”

The Tigers have assigned 17-year-old forward Colin Mospanchuk to the Winnipeg South Blues of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.

The move brings the current number of players on the Tigers roster to twenty-four including Jace Coyle who has yet to return from the Dallas Stars of the NHL.
